“A fun fact about me: my family makes doenjang, a traditional Korean fermented soybean paste known for its gut-brain health benefits. The recipe has been passed down in my family for over 400 years.”

Why AgeTech?
Aging is deeply personal.
Despite a serious fall that left him with a broken hip, my grandpa, at 91, is still sharp as a tack and fiercely consistent in his daily exercises – routinely doing three laps in his wheelchair around his hospital floor.
Every week, new tools and platforms are reshaping how we live, age, and care for one another – including fall detection devices. Yet the information around these innovations are scattered, underreported, and overly technical.
I launched AgeTech Journal as a space where founders, investors, and researchers can connect, collaborate, and accelerate the next generation of products shaping aging and longevity. It’s for people who see aging not as an endpoint, but as a frontier for creativity, technology, and human progress.
And globally, the urgency couldn’t be greater. By 2050, one in six people will be over 65. Longevity is no longer a distant topic – it’s one of the defining opportunities of our time.
Stay informed. Stay connected. Stay ahead with AgeTech Journal.
Note: AgeTech Journal is a news publication and a resource, not a peer-reviewed journal. If you’re looking for peer-reviewed research in AgeTech, we recommend Oxford Academic’s The Gerontologist, JMIR Aging, and Frontiers in Digital Health.
